On a mission to make transparent and affordable healthcare accessible to all anytime
Healthcare shouldn’t be a privilege.
NaYa was born out of the belief that healthcare should be accessible to all.
As a medical Fintech company, founded by two siblings passionate about making a business case for affordable quality healthcare, we are committed to giving people of West and Central Africa access to medical services traditionally unaffordable for many. We leverage mobile technology to connect local patients, family caregivers and healthcare providers to improve care access and affordability.
Our focus is on facilitating access to better health care today, while building 22nd century-ready resilient communities.
NaYa STORIES: MATOU
More than Health Credits
Living in Cameroon a country where there is no public health care coverage and less than 3% of the population has medical insurance, Matou is a 25 year-old woman, married and pregnant with her second child.
Like many women, Matou deals with painful heartburn made much worse by pregnancy. She works as an on-call sales agent for a local mobile phone company and styles hair on the side to makes ends meet.
Affording pregnancy-safe heartburn medication has been a struggle for Matou. Now with NaYa health credits, Matou can afford her medication and enjoy a pain-free pregnancy.
We see communities in West and Central Africa leveraging the potential of mobile technology to revolutionize the healthcare system.
Our vision breaks down the barriers between caregivers, patients, and the local healthcare professionals, offering extensive medical accessibility.
We strive to:
- Improve the access to healthcare for low and middle-income class
- Support pregnant and nursing women’s access to antenatal care
- Empower doctors and patients with trusted medical information and funds
